Capilano Suspension Bridge

At the height of 230 feet above the Capilano River, Capilano Suspension Bridge is a simple suspension bridge with a length of 140 meters. This bridge attracts more than 800,000 visitors a year with an average of 2,191 visitors per day. This bridge was initially built in 1889 by a Scottish civil engineer by the name George Grant Mackay. Later this bridge was rebuilt again in the year 1956. Various other attractions like a cliff walk, rain forest eco tours was also added for the visitors coming here. This bridge offers a breath taking view of the temperate rain forest to the tourist.
