The town of Churchill located on the west shore of the Hudson Bay in Manitoba, Canada is famous for the polar bears. These bears come here near the shore in the season of autumn. Due to this reason, this town is given the name of “Polar Bear Capital of the World” which is one of the primary reasons of its growing tourism industry. Tourist coming here can view the polar bears from a distance from buses called Tundra buggies. These buggies are especially designed to preserve the eco system. The ideal months for polar bear watch here are the month of October and November when the polar bears ran freely over the frozen Hudson Bay.
