Daman Diu

Union Territory Daman and Diu, which boasts of a civilization that is over two thousand years old is spread over an area of about 112 square kilometres. It is a congregation of the two areas Daman and Diu. It boasts of a perfect blend of natural and manmade wonders. The fort of St.Jerome, the 17th century old Se Cathedral, the Portuguese carvings on the walls of the churches in Daman and the Zampa Gateway, the Zampa Waterfall, the St.Paul’s Church in Diu are highly eye-pleasing. The Lake Garden of Satya Nagar Udyan in Daman is quite acknowledged and Gomptimata, Chakratirth and the scenic Sunset Point in Diu deserve special mention.
