Bengal Natural History Museum

The Bengal Natural History Museum is situated at distance of just 1 kilometer from the railway station of Darjeeling. You can easily visit here between 9 am to 5 pm. This quaint two storey building is run the government and contains much life like replicas of the birds, animals and reptiles of the region. Going on a trip here shall be very much worthy it as one can learn about and begin to appreciate the flora and fauna of the region. Some of the best things to see inside are replicas of beetles, butterflies, dragonflies, and replicas of over 400 bird species, 67 mammals and more.
